What Are Millets?
Millets are GLUTEN FREE ancient grains, although technically they are seeds not grains
- Naturally gluten-free
- Low Glycemic (Low Carb) - great for diabetics
- Rich in protein, fiber and Iron
- Naturally organic
- Sustainably grown
- Climate friendly crop
Directions: Soak grains for 3-4 hours (overnight also works)
Cook 1 cup of Pearl millet with 3 cups of water and a pinch of salt in medium heat for 60 min
- Great addition to salads
- Use as a substitute for rice or quinoa or couscous
- Best cooked in Instant Pot or Slow Cooker
